VTech has developed production machines that integrate several functions (such as leak detection and refrigerant charging) within one piece of equipment in order to respond to Lean Manufacturing driven production lay-outs such as “workcells”.
Several configurations are available depending on the number of workcells required and the functions to be performed. Single-point connection, minimization of human intervention and centralized data collection are some of the features offered by this concept.
